Cripple Creek Gold Cripple Creek Casinos offer slots, poker, blackjack, and more fun things to do. Since 1991, Cripple Creek has been home to limited stakes gambling. The Colorado legislature approved limited stakes gambling as a way to save several of Colorado's most historic towns that had become little more than ghost towns as populations and industries shifted away from these areas. The town of Cripple Creek was one of the first to take advantage of the new legislation and has done an excellent job in incorporating casinos and gaming with its historic gold mining origins.

Cripple Creek is still an old west gold town with a very active, gold mining community. Cripple Creek has also brought back a bit of the old time prospector in all of us with various casinos and saloons offering slots, poker and blackjack. There's a little bit of something for everyone in Cripple Creek. Cripple Creek has maintained its historic and authentic gold mining town feel while other areas of Colorado have become more like a mini-Las Vegas. Cripple Creek draws thousands of people each year due to its overall friendliness, historic venues, unique events, and of course gambling!
Cripple Creek Gambling

Limited Stakes Gambling

Colorado's casinos offer limited stakes gambling. This simply means the highest maximum bet is $5.00. There are plenty of slots to choose from in most of the casinos including penny, nickle, quarter, dollar, and even $5 slots. The slots include a variety of games including the ever popular video poker. There are also a variety of progressive slots available.

Live blackjack and poker tables are available in the casinos and more games are coming online all the time. One thing all of the casinos share in Cripple Creek is their friendly employees and a willingness to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.
